I just wanted to start off and say thank you. This was my first experience at a FCA camp and it was amazing! I love both sports and God so joining other Christian athletes in fellowship was a great opportunity.

When I got to camp they had actually put me in a guys group, really embarrassing! But I am so glad because if they hadn’t, I wouldn’t have been in the amazing huddle group that I was in! After they put me in an actual girls group, I clicked with them instantly! Before the week was over we were practically sisters.

Spending time at this camp brought me so much closer to God! Hearing how everyone was touched by Him was so great! I even had an eye-opening talk with God one night that really changed my perspective on things! It was an amazing experience and I hope I can come back next year. Thanks again!

Dear Mr. Wayne,

This past week has been really great for me. I really appreciate you providing a way for me to go. My huddle went undefeated (the only huddle in the camp to do that). It was really fun being that successful in competition. My favorite part in competition was the Shinnick Relay. I participated in the three-legged race and the wheelbarrow race. We came in first in that relay as well. Spiritually, I was really challenged by the messages spoken by Stuart Hall. They challenged us all to “do hard things”. They made me really want to step it up in my walk with Christ. The best experience I had while I was there was a conversation I had with one of the leaders. I had been struggling with a lot of doubts about my faith lately, and he was able to help me out a lot. Thanks again for your donation.

Dear Mr. Dickens,

I would like to thank you for supporting my trip to Coaches Camp at St. Simons Island. This camp recharged my faith and helped me meet other coaches and share ideas and thoughts. It was great to witness one of the campers from Smiths Station accept Christ.

This camp made me a better leader in Christ, which will make me a better coach. We also discussed financial issues and how to be better stewards of our income. Our huddle leader explained how he used Christ to make him financially strong.

Again, thank you for the scholarship money you donated for me, and others like me, to attend this camp.
